With the strategic restructuring of national economy and the establishment of "comprehensive reform zones" in Shanxi, it is necessary to solve the problem of promoting and upgrading the traditional industries structure. All of these will certainly accompanied by the happen of organizational change. The cognition of organizational change will affect the attitudes and behavior of employees. In the process of organizational change, the impact of organizational change on work stress has become one of the important research.Building on the review and analysis of existing literature, this paper put forward the concept model and research hypotheses based on the model of "work stressor-work stress moderating variables-response to stress". Through the questionnaire survey method, we explored the effect organizational change cognition on work stress by using a sample from Jinzhong branch of Shan Coal Transportation and Sales Group Co., Ltd. Furthermore, we investigated the moderating effect of organizational support by using hierarchical regression analysis in SPSS.In terms of the effect of position and income on work stress, the empirical results showed that there are significant differences. After control positions and income, the cognition to organizational effectiveness, cognition of engagement and employee benefits cognition related negatively to work itself, role stress and interpersonal relationship. Cognition to organizational effectiveness related to mechanism and style of organization. In addition, the conclusion supported that organizational support played a moderating role in the relationship between organizational change recognition and work stress.Finally, the results of this study were discussed. Then, the innovation, limitation, and future research directions were proposed.
