The Example Analysis And Countermeasure Research On Baotou City’s Urbanization Quality

Urbanization is an important symbol of social progress and social modernization in a country or a region, it is a necessary process and effective means of promoting economic growth, also it’s the only way to achieve the comprehensive development and to solve the urban and rural problems.Since reform and opening-up, our country has entered the phase of rapid development of urbanization, but there have been some outstanding problems at the same time, the problems influence the quality of the development of urbanization and restricted the process of urban economic and social development. Now, the country government put forward the new type of urbanization request as "obviously improve the quality of urbanization", studying on how to improving the quality of urbanization has great practical significance.According to the Baotou city’s urbanization development and changes in recent years, this paper use the multidisciplinary research methods to build the system about evaluation of Baotou city’s urbanization quality. The system including six aspects as the economic development, infrastructure, social development, quality of life, ecological environment, coordinated development of urban and rural areas and so on.Combined with the data analysis results and through the analysis of the research, the paper conclude that the major characteristics and trends of urbanization development, find out the problems and main reasons, and put forward the counter-measures to improve Baotou city’s urbanization quality.
