The Study Of The Open-Rent Pallet Pooling System

The use of the pallets can largely improve the transportation efficiency and reduce the logistics cost. The number of the pallets in our country is very large and grows rapidly. However, there is a serious waste in the application of pallets. The establishment of Pallet Pooling System can solve these problems successfully. Our country has already put this as one of the key projects of the construction of the logistics.Firstly, the analysis of the existing pallet pooling system and its operating mode are put forward. Then came back to the demand analysis of pallets in China. The Chapter three proposed a new type of pallet pooling system——open-rent pallet pooling system based on the current situation of our pallet market. This system are generally introduced and its feasibility is also studied.In chapter four, functional requirements, the overall business processes, the agriculture of public pallet information platforms of open-rent pallet pooling system are discussed to support the established of the system. The basic fuctional module is designed.In chapter five, potential problems of open-rent pallet pooling system is discussed. These problems mainly include pallets source, selection of pallet service station, target marketing strategy, pricing strategy and risk analysis. All these will provide theoretical support of the system.
