| The unitized transportation,represented by pallet pool system,is an important measure to promote the sustainable development of modern logistics service concept,operation mode and organization management.In recent years,the construction of socialized pallet pool system and the promotion of consistent pallet transportation have attracted wide attention from all walks of life.On the basis of previous research on pallet pool system and single-mode transportation over pallet pool,combined with the actual development status of pallet pool system,this paper studies how to measure the value of pallet pool in the road-rail intermodal transport and to promote the realization of pallet pool system in it.This paper mainly includes three parts of the core content:(1).Measure the value of pallet pool system in road-rail intermodal transport.Firstly,this paper analyses the current status of the pallet pool system in road-rail intermodal transport,the factors restricting pallet pool in road-rail intermodal transport and the possible value of the pallet pool system.Then,the cost measure models under non-pallet pool and pallet pool are constructed respectively according to the process of pallet pool in road-rail intermodal transport.The handling cost,warehousing cost,transportation cost,cargo damage cost and the operation cost by pallet pool in the whole process are considered in the models,and the application value of pallet pool is calculated and verified with a practical case.Furthermore,some suggestions are put forward for the model’s development of the pallet pool system in road-rail intermodal transport.(2).Pallet selection of pallet pool in road-rail intermodal transport.Aiming at the functional requirement of the pallet and the circulation process of the pallet in road-rail intermodal transport,the available pallet is divided into traditional pallet and intelligent pallet,and the functional characteristics of each pallet are analyzed.On the basis,an operation model,which is under closed-loop transportation chain and mixed with traditional pallet and intelligent pallet,is established in this part.After that,the operating cost model of each kind pallet and system total cost model are constructed respectively.Then the effect on system total cost of each kind pallet is compared by example analysis.Finally,the adaptability of the two types of common pallet is analyzed,which can be used for pallet selection when the promotion of pallet pool system in road-rail intermodal transport.(3).Pallet allocation of pallet pool in road-rail intermodal transport.Aiming at the problem of pallet allocation in the operation of pallet pool system,the feasibility of pallet allocation by railway in road-rail intermodal transport is studied.Firstly,the influence factors of pallet allocation by railway are analyzed based on the characteristics of railway transportation.Then,the pallet allocation model with time windows and vehicle constraints is constructed under the constraints of the existing railway network and train schedule.Consequently,the optimal pallet allocation scheme of example is obtained by Lingo programming,and the effectiveness of pallet allocation model is demonstrated.The model could be applicated as a reference for formulating pallet allocation scheme by railway in road-rail intermodal transport. |
