Abstract/Summary:
With the development of economy and the rapid growth of the food processing industry, the problem of corporate social responsibility in food industry has become increasingly prominent. Food safety events appear constantly in recent years, such as Sanlu "melamine milk powder," Shuanghui "clenbuterol", Lipton "poison tea bags" and "Sudan red" duck eggs and other food safety incidents, etc. Food companies ignore events of animal rights and with the improvement of people rights consciousness and increasingly on the agenda; people are growing for food enterprises to fulfill social responsibility. Food safety events appear constantly in recent years, such as Sanlu "melamine milk powder" Shuanghui "clenbuterol", Lipton "poison tea bags" and "tony red" duck eggs and other food safety incidents, etc. With the improvement of people’s rights consciousness, food companies who ignore events of animal rights are getting more and more attention. To fulfill corporate social responsibility has become the basic requirements for food enterprises. However, the research on corporate social responsibility are focused on the single enterprise for now, namely the contents^ management and practice of corporate social responsibility of the single enterprises. But what cannot be ignored is that every enterprise is in a supply chain system. In this system, multiple enterprises have mutual cooperation and common development in upstream and downstream flows through product flow, service flow, cash flow and information flow. The relationship between the enterprise is a whole, and any part appears corporate social responsibility risk, will affect the normal operation of the supply chain and bring serious consequences.Corporate social responsibility is no longer confined to a single enterprise, but extended to the whole supply chain. And how to push enterprises in the supply chain to perform social responsibility is a big problem in practice. Core enterprises play an important role in the food supply chain for the implementation and supervision of the corporate social responsibility, and affect the success or failure of corporate social responsibility implementation of supply chain. This paper will take the core enterprise as the main body, based on the perspective of food supply chain, and research about how the core enterprise in supply chain to fulfill the social responsibility and supervision of non-core enterprises to fulfill social responsibility, so as to realize the unity of social benefits and economic benefits. This has important practical value.Firstly, from the analysis of the basic theory, this article studies the development of corporate social responsibility to supply chain responsibility. According to the characteristics of the food industry, this article defines the concepts of the food supply chain, the core enterprise and the corporate social responsibility of the food supply chain, which provides a theoretical basis for behind study.Secondly, this paper analyzes the position and function of core enterprises in the management of corporate social responsibility of food supply chain, by using the theory of commission-generation, this paper analyzes the problem of food supply chain enterprises to fulfill social responsibility and the importance of building information platform; by Using the game theory, this paper analyzes the necessity of food supply chain enterprises to fulfill social responsibility and the necessity of the core enterprise leading supply chain to fulfill the social responsibility.Thirdly, by using the theory of stakeholder and analytic hierarchy process (AHP), this paper defines the management dimension of corporate social responsibility in supply chain. And by AHP comprehensive evaluation method, this paper constructs the food supply chain corporate social responsibility evaluation model. Combined with the case of KFC, this paper evaluates the evaluation model.Finally, form the practical significance, this paper builds the corporate social responsibility management mechanism of food supply chain which is leading by core cooperate, from the following three aspects:the construction of supply chain information platform, the enterprise culture construction and the construction of supplier selection and evaluation system, etc... This paper provides the reference value for the supply chain to fulfill social responsibility in reality.
