With market development in few years, the lean concept already covers the all the area of company operation, replacement of the original concept which are Lean Production, Lean Supplier Chain, Total Quality Management.Zeiss Shanghai is one global company, Main product assembled is Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM). CMM is the product which is high technical, high quality machine. It’s typical small batch, various product. With more and more competition in the marketing, the lean strategy becomes the global strategy of Zeiss Global.This paper based on the theoretical framework of lean production, and Zeiss Shanghai company is the research object. According on the lean production status of Zeiss Shanghai company analysis, through interviews, and field research, comprehensive evaluation via the third party, the results finds the shortcomings of lean production management of Zeiss Shanghai company, and according to the Zeiss Shanghai company lean production strategy, I sum up the corresponding recommendations for improvement. the management of the implementation of lean production framework is difined during the thesis writing.
