Organic agriculture is a sustainable agricultural production mode, which follows the nature orders and ecology principles, keeps the balance of farming and breeding industries, and uses the developed technology without chemical pesticide, fertilizer and transgenic products. At present, it develops vigorously and globally, while Chinese organic agriculture is still in the initial state for it poor technology and government support. This paper analyzes the existing problems and puts forward the countermeasures from the point of agricultural sci-tech demand.This paper can be divided in to five parts. In the first part, it mainly introduces the background and significance of the paper, the survey of domestic and foreign researches, as well as the research methods and innovation. In the second part, it summarizes the meaning of sci-tech and organic agriculture, and investigates their connections. The third part analyzes the development and existing problems of organic agriculture around the world, and introduces the present situation and typical areas of organic agriculture development, points out the problems in the development of organic agriculture. The fourth part analyzes the great demand for science and technology in the process of developing organic agriculture. The fifth part, by the comparison with western countries, puts forward not only the corresponding countermeasures of Chinese long-term organic agricultural development, but also some advice on establishing the sci-tech service system and creating more advantageous government support and international exchanges.
