IT Outsourcing Vendor Service Capability Evaluation System

The competition between outsourcing contractors is more and more intense because ofthe rapid development of IT outsourcing.Look at the current situation of China’s IToutsourcing,the gap is very big between China’s and Europium or American’s serviceproviders in service delivery,brand building and industry experience and other corecapability. Therefore,the industry and academia are paying more and more attention on IToutsourcing vendors in order to promote China’s IT outsourcing company to participate ininternational service outsourcing.And the government has treated IT outsourcing be anational strategy planning,introduced a number of development plans and incentivepolicies.In this case,it is very important theoretical and practical significance to study theability of IT outsourcing providers.I summed up the IT outsourcing vendors servicecapabilities elements,combined with the practical aspects of IT outsourcing process that ithas different ability for different stages after collating and analyzing former researchresults,and built an IT outsourcing providers‘service ability index system.The servicecapabilities of IT outsourcing vendor were evaluated by applying the method of empiricalanalysis.Then I analyzed and discussed the evaluation results combined with industrydevelopment in our country in order to provide a theoretical basis and practical reference topromote the IT outsourcing vendors’dynamic ability.Firstly,I commented the domestic and foreign IT outsourcing status and themes.Andthe idea of paper has been made initially by summarizing the relevant literature andresearch.Then,I had Yang Bo&Yin Guopeng’s index system as a reference to presentedpreliminary evaluation model combined with IT outsourcing practical process.On thebasis,I modified the initial evaluation and test questionnaires through communicating withseveral IT outsourcing practitioners and researchers.At last,a formal questionnaire wasformed.The the validity and reliability of index system had been verified and analyzed IToutsourcing service capability of a certain enterprise and how type or revenue influence theservice ability of IT outsourcing vendor by collected data.In a word,I gave future researchdirections and recommendations for the development of China’s IT outsourcing industrybased on the above literature and data analysis.
