Reform and opening-up and the market reform which takes economicconstruction as the central task bring great challenges to the management style ofChinese state-owned companies for those companies implement a kind of specialmanagement style over a long period of time. Many state-owned companies areconfronted with great survival crisis in such market environment. Many companiesare forced to implement downsizing for efficiency to decrease operating costs andenhance the market competitiveness. However, such action make a large number ofworkers leave work in advance and be a huge blow to those workers’ mind. At thesame time, this action cause some misbehaviors by laid-off workers and put pressureon the construction of harmonious society. The main reason for the phenomena aboveis the absence of a more perfect management model of social service in the transitionof state-owned companies to provide scientific and reasonable service for thosepeople.The thesis comb the background of the times when the state-owned companiestransform based on the thorough analysis on the collected relevant references and thedata from interviews. On that basis, the thesis refines and sums up the problems ofsocial service management in transition of the state-owned companies. And then, thethesis summarizes the development process of four stages–germination, rudiment,development and maturity of Dong Dian and proposes a innovation model of socialservice management with the characteristics of Dong Dian. At the same time, thethesis proposes a new innovation model of social service management which issuitable for Chinese state-owned companies in their transformation after looking backat the management innovations of state-owned companies and learning from thesuccessful experiment of Dong Dian. The research further analyzes the operationmechanism and safeguard measures and analyzes the positive effects made byinnovation model of social service management. The management innovation modelsof social service of Dong Dian and the state-owned companies in their transformationare put forward. These models cover the main work ideas and methods and providereference for better solutions of the problems of social service management in the transformation of the state-owned companies.
