Tianjin FAW XIALI Automobile Co., Ltd has been dedicating to build adomestic first-class economical passenger car manufacturing base, whose businessdesire is ‘Making fine cars, being auto-Master, building a harmonious enterprise’. Inrecent years, Xiali company has been fully leading the Toyota Production System(TPS) into the enterprise and committing to build a Lean organization system whichprovides a boost for the business development. I believe that the Toyota ProductionSystem itself is not a secret, but the System doesn’t provide a methodology whichtells people how to learn and use it, and it’s also an urgent task that how to promotethe TPS in state-owned enterprises in China. This gives us a broad research andpractice space, which is the main content of this paper attempting to elaborate.Firstly, the paper fully analysed the core concept of Lean Thinking, then focusedon the application of Hoshin Kanri in the business management, and also elaboratedthe whole P-D-C-A process of Hoshin Kanri systematically. Meanwhile, the paper putthe Xiali company as a research object, analyzed the process and the effectiveness ofpromoting the Hoshin Kanri, basing on the investigation of the company’smanagement system. Finally, the paper analyzed the problems which could be easilyhappened during the process of promoting the Hoshin Hanri, and gave the furtherproposals to the next direction of carrying out the Hoshin Hanri in Xiali company.The research of this paper will play a certain role in guiding of the overall TPSpromotion in Xiali company and the localization of the world’s best enterprises’practices.
