Research On Green Manufacturing Based Upon Lean Thinking In Enterprise

Manufacturing industry has made abundant material wealth for mankind on one hand; and on the other hand, it has caused serious environmental pollution. To meet the requirements of sustainable development, manufacturing industry must utilize resources effectively and reduce environmental pollution as far as possible. Green manufacturing (GM) is a relatively new concept developed in recent years, and is also the sustainable development mode of modern manufacturing industry. If the enterprises want to achieve sustainable development and to occupied a certain share in the international market, thus to become the winner in the competence, they must put green manufacturing into practice to cultivate the core competence of the enterprise.The Lean Production (LP) and GM are coordinate modes of manufacture. And the most sameness between them is that all the activity don' t create any value are wastes. So the pollution is also a kind of muda from this point of view. This thesis discusses the integration of the two theories through a comprehensive analysis between them from seven aspects. So the author put forward the opinion that use the lean thinking to guidance the GM throughout all the process, as to reduce the pollution.The integration of Lean Thinking and GM need a corresponding management system and operation mode to realize. So this dissertation advance that we set up an integrated and lean management standard system which made up by EMS and QMC, on the base of a comparatively consummated system of QMC.The goal of GM is the minimum of the negative influence to the environment through all the Lifecycle of the product. It include not only the produce process, but also many activities such as acquiring the materials, selling the products, recycling and disposing the old products. So GM can not be accomplished within a single corporation and must depend on the cooperation among the supply chain enterprises. LP is also requests not only the core corporation but all the corporation in the supply chain to reduce their cost and storage to improve the efficiency overall. Therefore the mode of GM with the lean thinking which is based on the green supply chain is put forward in this thesis.
