Research On The Spatial Development Of The New Zone Located In The Edge Of Xi’an City Since The1990s

Edge-city of xi ’an is refers to the development of construction land which locatedin the edge of the city in its early stages of construction，planning new district withsystem integration, functional independence and dynamic and is the product of urbandevelopment to a certain extent. There has been building8relatively independent edgecities around Xi’an in the past20years. New district become increasingly important inurban space elements collection and diffusion and urban spatial pattern reconstruction.Meanwhile, the contradictions and problems of new district in their own developmentand construction also become prominent. Therefore, analyze and summarize the lessonslearned of new district development, explore the laws of new district development,scientific guidance and regulatory for new district spatial expansion has very important.Xi’an Economic-Technological Development Area has began to construct in the1993, after nearly20years of improvement, use the government incentives、locationalmarginal zone characteristics and own efforts to become an indispensable part of Xi’an.The typical development of Xi’an Economic-Technological Development Area is that,first, the construction of Xi’an Economic-Technological Development Area began in theconstruction of China Economic-Technological Development Area ’s boom period, andwith the continued conversion of development background，and gradually achievechange from a single industry-led development model to multi-function integrateddistrict development trajectory; Second, Xi’an Economic-Technological DevelopmentArea located in Xi’an important nodes of urban development, but also at the forefront of urban space expansion. In this paper, the main object is studying the space of Xi’anEconomic-Technological Development Area, and analyzing the space developmentform and evolution process from the perspective of space.Systematically traced the development process of edge-city of xi ’an on the basis ofdomestic and foreign experience，studied the spatial relationship between The newdistrict and center city and the impact on new district construction in the center citydevelopment from the whole. The basic framework for study on Xi’anEconomic-Technological Development Area was built up on systematic study，and todiscuss from stage of development, evolution of space and power factor. Finally, theconclusions of the research paper, proposed reasonable suggestions on construction ofnew district. Seen from development stage, Xi’an Economic-TechnologicalDevelopment Area went through3stages: Firstly, foundation period for construction,with the feature in spatial development including“a space node, two urban developmentaxis”; Secondly, accelerated development period, with feature in spatial development is“axial extension, block filling and enclave development”；Thirdly, comprehensivedistrict period, with feature in spatial development is the initial formation of the "threegroup structure".Seen from the feature of space evolution, the overall space growth presents:Industry leader, driven by point and axis, axial extension, Administrative promotionblock filling, enclave development，central movement and block filling. In the city roads,it shows Process is that road network overall presentation extends from south to northand become system, and the slip gradually darn; In terms of industrial land, after theprocess from start to grow rapidly and gathered to transfer；In terms of residential land,after the process from slow to grow rapidly and then by slowly adjusted to the blowoutexpansion；In terms of commercial land，after the process from start to grow rapidly andanxious development to quickly gather.Through analysis on motive power factor–economic, policy, urban planning, andother major project factors found that，the spatial evolution of Xi’anEconomic-Technological Development Area is affected by various factors.Toundationperiod for construction, the power of Xi’an Economic-Technological Development Areaof space expansion is pushed by the total investment in fixed assets；Accelerated development period, the power of Xi’an Economic-Technological Development Area ofspace expansion is pushed by policy；Comprehensive District period, the power of Xi’anEconomic-Technological Development Area of space expansion is pushed by newadministrative center.
