Study On Investment Benefit Evaluation Of Exploration And Development Of Zhongyuan Oilfield

Petroleum industry is the basic industry of national economy，and it also belongs totechnology-intensive industry. Although the quantity of Oil and gas production andconsumption in China has been ranked among the top of the world, a series of problems stillexist in the investment benefit of petroleum enterprises, such as the low level of investmentmanagement, low economic benefit and high cost of oil exploration and development.Previous investment benefit evaluation of exploration and development was divided intoexploration evaluation and development evaluation according to the stage. This is unfavorableto control the cost and risk of oil exploration and development comprehensively andobjectively, and is not conducive to investment managers to make correct investment decision.In recent years, the implementation of the oil and gas exploration and development integrationevaluation has become the focus of oilfield enterprise investment management. Investmentbenefit evaluation of exploration and development has become the focus and hot spots of theresearch work.In the first part of the thesis, the oilfield exploration and development investment benefitevaluation related theory at home and abroad is systematically summarized and reviewed.Secondly, based on the summary, we analyze the status of Zhongyuan oilfield exploration anddevelopment investment benefit. Third, we put forward using principal component analysisscreening evaluation indexes based on the actual production and operation data of Zhongyuanoilfield from2007to2011, to scientifically build a set of exploration and developmentevaluation index system according with the characteristics of oilfield enterprises. Next, thisindex system is used to evaluate the exploration and development investment benefit ofZhongyuan oilfield from2007to2011,with the method of data envelopment analysis(dea).Evaluation results show that the zhongyuan oilfield exploration and development investmentbenefit is in the average level at present, but it also has some problems. In the last part of the thesis,combined with the evaluation results, in view of existing problems, we put forwardcountermeasures to improve the Zhongyuan oilfield exploration and development investmentbenefit including reduce costs of exploration and development, improve the level ofinvestment management and reform investment management system and so on.
