Research In The Present Situation Of Tianjin Exhibition Industry And Development Countermeasure

MICE is an emerging industry appear in the process of economic globalization, thathas a great driving effect on the economic development. Because of high efficiency,less investment, high rate of return, the central government and local governments andall sectors of society have thought about MICE as an important measure to promoteurban development, industrial upgrading and enhance the local economy. In thecurrent development of exhibition economy boom, Tianjin is also a profoundunderstanding of the importance of the development of the exhibition industry fortheir own development. In this paper, we provided the experience anddecision-making for the development strategy of Tianjin exhibition program throughthe analysis of the exhibition industry in this city. But we also found that theexhibition industry facing many practical difficulties and challenges, not only fromthe Capital of Beijing, but also in itself: Positioning blurred, blind competition, lack ofcooperation. Hence, a diagnosis was needed to be for the Tianjin Exhibition, to makethe advantages and disadvantages of convention center clearly and to make themre-positioned, so that the Tianjin Exhibition would have a better future.Proceed to explain the meaning of the exhibition in this article, exhibition activities,industry and the economy were also talked about. The analysis of currentdevelopment of exhibition industry in Tianjin would help us to find the problems.Tianjin exhibition industry as an example, we could analyse the factor and trend of theindustry.By analyzing the existing exhibition projects, forecast exhibition industrydevelopment direction. The study found that Tianjin exhibition industry, includingpolicy support, economic factors, technical factors, exhibition venues and surroundinginfrastructure planning. From the operation of the market, market competition, venuesand ancillary services and shortcomings exist in the MICE industry in Tianjin, and anin-depth analysis of its causes. Finally, based on the characteristics of the MICEindustry in Tianjin, Tianjin proposed exhibition industry development strategy.
