Diagnosis And Design Of Compensation System For EL Corporation

With economic restructuring, small and medium-sized high-tech enterprises havebecome the nucleus of national economic development. As one of the most effectiveincentives, compensation management plays a significant role for small and medium-sizedhigh-tech enterprises in attracting outstanding talents, motivating staff to work hard andenhancing corporate competitiveness, thus achieving corporate strategic goals.Based on EL, a common software enterprise, this thesis analyzes common problemsof many small and medium-sized high-tech enterprises in compensation management,probes into EL’s compensation reform, and tries to find out measures and plans forstandardizing the compensation management of small and medium-sized high-techenterprises, thereby sharpening their competitiveness.Combing literature reading and staff interview, based on the actualities of EL and thehistory of compensation management, through quantitative analysis, this thesis diagnosesEL’s compensation management,extracts EL’s existing problems in compensationmanagement, explores the deep-rooted cause of the situation, demonstrates the necessityand feasibility of EL’s compensation reform, comes up with EL’s current compensationstrategy on the basis of the theory of corporate life cycle, completes EL’s compensationsystem reform through job evaluation, job hierarchy design, compensation structuredesign and benefit design.Through the analysis of EL’s compensation design case, this thesis probes intocorporate compensation strategy selection, job evaluation method, compensation structurepreference and flexible benefit plan, and presents notes for the reform from high stabilitycompensation to mixed compensation, in the hope that they will be of reference tocompensation reforms of many small and medium-sized high-tech enterprises.
