With the economic increase and scientific development, the competition among enterprises has been becoming increasingly heated. On the one hand, the production efficiency is requested higher and higher as production period becomes shorter and shorter. On the other hand, the enterprises have to reduce the production cost while improving the quality, and enhancing competitiveness through more frequent replacement of equipment which failed the examination. So, a higher requirement is imposed on the equipment of the enterprises which should be not only economical and advanced on the technological side but also efficient with low cost, environment friendly and safe and liable. However, many enterprises in our country ignored equipment replacement for a long time, and abrasion has happened on equipment in the course of using or leaving unused due to various factors, as a result, the working efficiency, processing accuracy, environmental protection performance and safe reliability of equipment can not meet the requirement of market competition. So the timely diagnosis of the equipment running state has become one of the most important issues faced by the relative enterprises. Against such background, this dissertation unfolds its study and research by taking the diagnosis of the enterprises equipment running state as the main subject. The main research work and conclusion of the dissertation can be summarized as follows:1. Establishment of the important degree evaluation model on equipments in enterprises based on extenics theory. On the basis of studying, classifying and summarizing the diagnosis issue of equipment running state, this dissertation first establishes the evaluation method for evaluating important degree of enterprises'equipment based on extenics theory. The model is composed by relative mater-elements model and the extenics evaluating method, and divides the important degree of enterprises'equipment into four grades of"less important","general","focal point"and"key". The dissertation carries on empirical study to define the scope of every degree, ascertain the weight of very index, sets up the correlation function and calculate the correlating degree to decide the important degree of the equipment.2. Establishment of the diagnosis model of equipment running state. The dissertation starts the study on the diagnosis of the equipment running state on the basis of the evaluation of the important degree of the equipment. By synthetising the situation of status diagnosis works in China and combining the characters of the diagnosis method on normal equipment, the dissertation has presented an equipment diagnosis method based on the extenics theory. The equipment running state has been divided into four degrees according to the equipment running state and the production technological character: regular running state (maintenance stage), common status (item repair), bad status (major repair), worst status (out of service and replacement). The dissertation studied the theoretical basis for evaluating index design on the major instrument and equipment running state, ascertained the principal and method of the index system design, and set up the status evaluating index system for enterprises equipment. The dissertation establishes the diagnosis model on equipment running state by employing the extenics theory, presents the standard for deciding the running state degree. If the equipment status and certain status standard have the most close correlation degree, the equipment belongs to such certain status standard degree.3. The establishment of the equipment running state diagnosis system. The dissertation establish the diagnosis system on equipment running state by employing Visual Basic language and the Data Base after the establishment of the important degree evaluation model and the diagnosis model of equipment running state. This system integrates the data collection, display, store, analysis and diagnosis into one, establish the data base and knowledge module by the combination of the equipment important degree evaluation model and the diagnosis model of equipment operation stats, has a friendly interface for man and equipment dialogue. The system has the intelligentized status diagnosis function and can make diagnosis and validation according to the symptom index and the equipment information by multi-levels and multi-angles.
