With the development of e‐commerce, the demand for online payment is surging. The internet technology brings innovation to the commerce, not only in the flow of business, but also in the flow of funds. It has always been a hot topic catching men’s eyes that the online payment is being increasingly important. There are two types of online payment in China: the third‐party payment and the online banking. Take the Paypal as an example, the third‐party payment are getting a huge market share, in order to compete successfully with the third‐party payment, online banking should take measures effectively.This essay stands a commercial banks’ angle, starting with the development status of the online paying market, introducing the market share and payment mode; Empirical Analysis of the user scale and market turnover suggests a positive correlation between the two; finally a game theory model is constructed to analyze the relationship between the third‐party payment and commercial banks, drawing that the two will be in concurrent status, thus effective tactics should the banks take to impulse their market share.
