| The lack of innovative capacity and the stunted growth of service sector is theweaknesses of China’s economic development. knowledge innovation is the foundation forenterprise development. Under the trend of economic globalization, technological cross,value chain’s diversification, enterprise’s specialization, resource allocation’s socializationof technology and marketing and so on. An enterprise is difficult to accomplish all thebusiness activities independently. Production process is being disassembled and extended tomore enterprise, which originally by one enterprise from the R&D, design, manufacturingto sales. The enterprise is in the service-embedded manufacturing network which composedof suppliers, professional service providers, customers and other members. The purpose ofthis paper is to figure out the mechanism that how the information system capabilities giveimpact to knowledge innovation in the service-embedded manufacturing network.The main contents of this study are shown follows:(1)Summarize the former researchabout service-embedded manufacturing, service-embedded manufacturing network,knowledge innovation, information system capabilities and content analysis, and then try todefine the concept of service-embedded manufacturing network, knowledge innovation andinformation system capabilities.(2) the elements of information system capabilities wereresearched by using content analysis method. Based on documentary research, this paperpropose that information system capabilities including IT infrastructure related capabilities,network capabilities, IS human resource capabilities and intangible assets activated by IS.through further literature research and collect relevant materials of typical enterprise’sinformation system situation, this paper use content analysis method to validate abovehypothesis,The quantity of materials was30.(3)then we research the elements ofknowledge innovation by using the content analysis. Based on the research of literature, weproposed knowledge innovation includes technical oriented, process oriented and customeroriented.Then we analyzed the content to validate the assumptions through more literaturereviewed and business data collected.(4) We research the mechanism of knowledgeinnovation influenced by the information system capacity by using the content analysis.First, the constituent elements of technology, non-technical capability and knowledgeinnovation in service-oriented manufacturing network are listed. Second, the coding rules are made. Then, select the sample from service oriented manufacturing network andstatistic the frequency. Calculate the percentage and make descriptive statistics andcorrelation analysis. In the end, we began to explore the mechanism of knowledgeinnovation influenced by the capacity of information system technology and non-technical.This article provides a reference for enterprise that how to improve the knowledgeinnovation from the perspective of information system in the service-orientedmanufacturing network. |
