As the important strategic resources, oil and gas not only affect thedevelopment of the society and national economy but also maintain the nationalsecurity. Because of the rapid development of global economy, the increasingdemand of oil and gas and the fierce market competition, the development of theoil industry is facing more pressure. The realization of the enterprisemanagement strategy and the improvement of the management status need allstaff’s hard work. Among all the staffs, the middle managers play the mostimportant roles in the enterprise operation. How to improve middle managers’self-quality, management level and enterprise’ core competitiveness has becomethe important part of human resources management of Petro China NK Company.This paper intends to optimize performance management system for middlemanagers of Petro China NK Company to improve competitiveness on the basisof the in-depth study of relevant theories. This paper introduces the currentsituation and existing problems of performance management system in PetroChina NK Company, pointing out various problems in performance managementtheory, job analysis and performance indicators. KRIF four elements model isutilized to perfect, classify and prioritize the performance appraisal indicators, toconfirm the calculation method of indicators and to improve performancemanagement system. Finally in order to ensure the effective implementation ofthe optimized performance management system, the performance managementcommittee and appeal system is proposed to be established to organize theeffective propaganda and training activities. |
