Study On The Improvement Of Linglong Tyre Supplier Management Based On Quality Management System

This year, the internal and external environment affects the development ofthe domestic tire industry. Such as the natural rubber market price fluctuations,tire market price instability, tires testing ground for the construction of green tiremanufacturing, the U.S. special protective case expires, the EU labeling law,trade friction, defective auto product recall tires and the tire claims rose tonational mandatory standards. Because of that, the domestic tire companies mustcompete in the international market and establish a brand to get customer loyaltyby increasing the product cost. How to build a strategic partnership withupstream and downstream customers and improve the anti-risk ability of the tirebusiness is an important business problem placed in front of all company. Thusemerged the supply chain management and suppliers have become indispensablepartners for companies succeed. However, China’s most tire companies still relyon experience in the choice of suppliers. That’s lack of science and cannot makea comprehensive, specific, objective supplier management to meet the rapiddevelopment of the entire tire industry needs. Therefore, the research ofstrengthening supplier management and improving product consistency isparticularly important.In view of this, on the basis of the consolidated results of previous studies,this paper conducted a detailed in-depth research focusing on Linglong Tire’ssupplier management and purchasing management with the main use of cases andcomparative analysis. This paper analyses of Linglong’s management situation tofind problems and develops management programs for the problem from vendorselection, evaluation, daily management, performance improvement, elimination,procurement of raw materials, inventory, quality and other aspects of themanagement. Then we conducted a case study and effects analysis of the programand further compared the implementation of performance before and after thechange of supplier management. Finally, we did a discussion on the company’strends in procurement management.The study found that the application of quality management system tosupplier management and purchasing management can effectively improve the range of issues of the supplier management problems that Linglong Tire exists.And this application has certain universality. Thus this study enriches ourtheoretical research on supplier and purchasing management. It solves theproblem of corporate management practices. In any case, this study has sometheoretical and practical significance.
