An Application Study On R&D Project Management Of AN Company

As an important branch of management science, the popularization and promotion ofproject management are growing rapidly. Project management is a process to achieve theproject objectives, it uses all kinds of management knowledge, skills, tools, andtechniques to do the planning, organization, coordination and control for the projects. Fordynamics and complex market environment, intense competition, and large engineering,project management has been proved to be an effective management way to resolve.The thesis is taking AN Company, which has years of new products developmentexperience, as the object of study. The thesis describes the development of projectmanagement, some basic theoretical concepts of project management, the basicbackground and R&D condition of AN Company. In subsequent chapters, thesis analyzesthe problems during the research and development process to find out the problemsexisted. At the last chapter, the thesis tries to figure out how to resolve these problemsbasing on the theory of project management and the basic concept of project management.The problems AN Company encountered during R&D process are typical for some ofenterprises in China. Researching and discussing these problems may provide someeffective measures for AN Company, and may also provide some experience and referencefor the enterprises which have the similar problems. The research and discuss may enablethe project management capability and core-competitiveness of enterprises, and isfar-reaching for enterprise’s survival and development.
