CPECC Company, as a specialized and professional construction enterpriseengaging in petroleum engineering construction of EPC contract style, has becomeone well-known petroleum engineering construction company both at home andabroad after many years development.With the deepening development of global economy, CPECC Company is facingmore complex business environment and intense market competition, and theformative structure of CPECC Company’s international market has been changed andshocked considerably. In order to accommodate the new environment of internationalpetroleum engineering construction, CPECC Company has formed a new marketpattern with the core of the high-end market and the auxiliary of low-end marketby adjusting strategy immediately. Singapore petroleum engineering market belongsto the high-end market and should be explored in accordance with CPECCCompany’s new market strategy.In order to successfully develop the market of petroleum engineeringconstruction in Singapore, the dissertation uses the strategic management theory andanalysis tools to analyze CPECC Company’s internal and external environment, andthus to form the most effective strategy for developing the market of petroleumengineering construction in Singapore. The dissertation mainly uses PEST analysis,Porter’s five force model, internal resources analysis, background investigation andmanagement situation analysis and company ability analysis to make a qualitativeanalysis on the internal and external environment of CPECC Company, and then usesexternal factors evaluation matrix (EFE), internal factor evaluation matrix (IFE),SWOT matrix and quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM) to make aquantitative analysis for evaluating the best strategy for CPECC Company developingthe petroleum engineering construction market in Singapore. The strategysuccessfully indicates the access to petroleum engineering construction market inSingapore, and also provides a reference and inspiration for CPECC Company todevelop the similar new market.
