| In the background of regional economic integration, the integrated development ofBeijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has risen to the national strategic level,coordinateddevelopment of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regional industries has become the focus of muchattention people. The core of coordinated regional development is the industrial divisionof labor and cooperation in different regions. Choose the industries that based on theirrespective strengths conditions to support the development of competitive industries.avoid the convergence of industrial structure, achieve mutual benefit in overall. Therefore,the selection and cultivation of competitive industries can promote regional integration ofresources, accelerate complementary strengths of the related industries, help to promotethe rational division of labor, Strengthen regional cooperation, promote the realization ofthe coordinated development of regional industry and regional economic integration.From a longer-term perspective, it has a more far-reaching significance for the economicdevelopment gap between North and South, changes the situation of fast south and slownorth in the Chinese economy, form of the three regions interaction, complementaryregional coordinated development pattern.Considering the close economic ties of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, spatialinteraction is strong, therefore,this paper uses the space model of Shift-Share analysismethod to make research on the competitive industries selection of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebeiregion.Firstly, on the basis of regional division of labor and cooperation theories andcompetitive industries theories, the paper made qualitative and quantitative analysis for theeconomic development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.It focuses on the the status quo ofindustrial layout, industrial structure, industrial division of labor in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebeiregion. There are many problems,for example, the industrial layout is irrational, industrialdevelopment is not balanced, industrial structure is assimilated between urban.and there isno clear division of labor and industry chain, industry collaboration is still in the primarystage.Secondly, the paper made qualitative analysis of the comparative advantage forcompetitive industries’ development in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, then madequantitative analysis with the method of location quotient. Through the above analysis，wefound that they are complementary in terms of factor endowments. Therefore.they shouldmake full use of the comparative advantages to achieve dislocation development, andstrengthen the industrial division of labor and cooperation, eventually achieve mutualbenefit and win. Thirdly, the paper made empirical analysis on the selection of competitive industriesfor Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region on the base of the space model of shift share analysismethod. And the development prospects,industry structure and competitiveness of everyindustry in the region has been clearly showed in the figure of industrial sector advantagesand figure of industrial sector deviation component. In the end,all industrial sectors aredivided into better departments, general departments and poor departments according to thecomprehensive development of each industry sector, and the better departments werechosen as alternatives of competitive industries.Finally, on the base of the theoretical research and empirical research in previous text,the paper proposed suggestions on the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebeiregion from the perspective of strategic positioning,development planning and coordinationmechanisms. |
