Research On The Optimization Of Tangshan Industrial Structure Based On The Coordinated Development Of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei

The collaborative development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH)has been listed into national development strategy and will be thoroughly implemented,which provides unprecedented opportunities for the sustainable economic and social development of Tangshan area.However,with the new normal of economic growth,there are several problems,including uncoordinated industrial structure,extensive development mode and weak innovation ability,restricting the economic development of Tangshan.Therefore,it is necessary to deeply study the industrial structure and analyze the dominant industry in the three major industries in Tangshan.In the environment of collaborative development of BTH,Tangshan should strengthen cooperation with Beijing and Tianjin and make full use of advantageous resources(such as funds,technology and talents)of Beijing and Tianjin.Then it should optimize its dominant industry to further optimize itself industrial structure.Through the understanding of urban complex system,we systematically analyze the industry development status and structure characteristics of Tangshan,which is based on Synergy Theory and Porter’s Diamond Theory.What’s more,we discuss how to select the leading industry and analyze the strategy of industrial structure optimization in this city.First of all,based on the above tow theories,we put forward the basic framework of industrial structure optimization,and analyze the basic situation of BTH’s industrial development.Then the development characteristics of tertiary industries and specific industries are analyzed with Shift Share Analysis,and the leading industry is selected with Shift-Share Method and Location Quotient Method.Finally,strategy of industrial structure optimization is proposed with the research results in this paper.Accordingly,along with the optimization and adjustment of industrial structure in Tangshan,leading industry should be developed as a core.Additionally,optimization and upgrading of industrial structure should be promoted by reasonable industrial development strategies.Agriculture and Fishery should be given priority to development in the primary industry.Steel,building materials,energy and equipment manufacturing industry should be put an emphasis on the optimization and upgrading in the secondary industry.And in the tertiary industry,transportation,logistics and tourism should be the focus of development.
