Abstract:Tobacco Hunan Industrial Co., Ltd.(referred to as Tobacco Hunan), founded in2007, has six major cigarette factories including Changsha, Changde, Chenzhou, and Lingling, etc., with two dominant brands:"Baisha" and "Furongwang", which rank in the top. With the continuous deepening reform of China’s economy, in the implementation process of promoting strategic objectives of " Great Business, Great Brand, Great Market", the market structure of the domestic tobacco industry is also engaged in the constant shuffling and updates. In the face of enormous pressure from the market, at the same time, tobacco Hunan is also showing some prominent contradictions and bottlenecks, such as conflict between planning system and the market economy, vagueness of the strategy and goals, bureaucratism breeding due to over analysis and long decision-making chain, deficiency of employees’sense of belonging and team identity. These problems are severe plague of production, operations and future development.Firstly, from a theoretical level, the paper discusses the main theoretical organizational structure, provides a theoretical basis and foundation for the follow-up study. Secondly, based on the analysis of the internal and external environment that Tobacco Hunan facing, the systematic SWOT analysis of the company’s existing advantages weaknesses, opportunities and challenges, and deep-seated combing and imputation of the company’s problems, the paper has come to a conclusion that an immediate optimization and adjustment of organizational structure is urgently needed. Again, combined with the company’s development strategy, analyzing the mismatch of the existing organizational structure and corporate strategy, the paper stated Tobacco Hunan must innovate from the following four aspects:the existing organizational structure, the coordination of the environment, the matching degree strategy from institutional change, as well as changes in the internal management functions. Finally, analyzing the current situation and future development of the company’s, taking advantage of strategic relevance, the paper offered an innovative solution of organizational structure, which the writher believes more suitable for the future development of Tobacco Hunan. The program is to help Hunan Tobacco establish a set of organization structure, which is a market-oriented, more flexible and variable in response to modern society and the fierce market competition.
