China tobacco industry has long been implementing the management model of central, vertical management and government monopoly. Longtime insisting the enterprise culture of being low-key and doing things in a low-key way, tobacco industry does little propaganda work to the public; therefore the public always has a misunderstanding of them. Influenced by monopoly system and state-owned company management, tobacco companies always face the problem of lacking internal vigor. This may lead to the depressing of core competitiveness, and make the company disadvantageous in the competition with the foreign companies in the global market. So it’s necessary to inspire the company’s internal vigor to improve the abilities of competing with the foreign companies. Firstly the entrepreneurs need to analyze the restricting factors of lacking internal vigor. Among the varied factors, the most important is the employee. Therefore, the entrepreneurs must inspire the employees’vigor first, and then inspire the company’s vigor entirely.The study focuses on how to inspire the employee’s vigor. The author refines related theories from domestic and foreign references, and then investigates the current situations of SCYC Company from three aspects:personnel structure, human resource management and employees’vigor situation, to find out the existing problems in employees’vigor, as well as the reasons. Refers to the problems and reasons, the author puts forward some advices based on human resource management theories to raise the employees’vigor, as well as improve the company’s competiveness.Based on the investigation and restrictive factors analyzed in the employees’ vigor, the author gets the conclusion that employees’identity management, individual internal factors, human resource management, leadership and enterprise culture can all influence the employees’vigor. Presently, the employees’vigor in SCYC Company is not good, and the employee mobility is poor. To reverse the situation, the entrepreneurs must make changes to the factors influencing employees’vigor with strong pertinences, as for improving the employees’vigor step by step, create a competitive working atmosphere, and make an orderly competitive situation come into being. The author suggests that entrepreneurs should make a fundamental change in the way we think, focus on position management in human resource management, establish the employee comprehensive quality evaluation system, and improve corresponding incentive mechanism and exit mechanism in order to better inspire the employee’s vigor from the mechanism construction aspect.
