Abstract:With the rapid development of global economy, logistics market is booming. Many foreign logistics enterprises have entered in and Chinese logistics enterprises emerge in large numbers such as bamboo shoots after a spring rain. In face of external tremendous pressure and threats, small and medium-sized logistics enterprises have to expand their scale, so as to enhance their own strength in order to survive and develop in the competition. Merger and integration are the most effective approach for enterprise to realize this goal. This thesis describes the basic theory and the status quo of logistics enterprises and the status quo of logistics company mergers. Cause of merger is analyzed. Then logistics business acquisition targets are analyzed by using AHP and TOPSIS multi-objective decision model. AHP uses a method combining quantitative and qualitative analysis, pairwise compares the layers of elements, calculate the weight of each index, then composite each weighted index, finally all results are made final consistency test; The basic idea of TOPSIS is to define ideal solution and negative ideal solution decision of problem, then select the nearest one to the ideal solution as target acquisition. Through an empirical analysis, we can draw that, AHP is suitable in multi-level, small sample multi-objective decision making, and TOPSIS is suitable in low level, large sample multi-objective decision making. Two analysis methods have some practical significance. With the acceleration of Chinese commodity circulation, the demand for logistics is growing and competition between logistics enterprises is growing. Logistics enterprises can match those large logistics enterprises only after the merger and integration, and survive and develop in the fierce competitive market.
