| Since the Central Economic Work Conference in2012and the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party, the construction of the new urbanization has gradually increased to the national policy level and become a major economic and social development goal for a long time. Unlike the urbanization in the past, new urbanization hs been given a new meaning in the new era. New urbanization requires scientific economic growth, requires harmonious social development. Finance as an important economic factor plays an extremely important role in the new urbanization development. How to evaluate the role of finance in the past process of urbanization, and how the finance will better promote economic development in the new era according to the requirement of new urbanization, will be the main contents of this paper.Firstly, the paper has reviewed the concept of urbanization according to the relevant literature, so as to analyze the development process of urbanization concept and connotation. Meanwhile, the paper has combined the results of previous studies on the financial impact of urbanization. Second, to define the concept of the new urbanization, analyzing the meaning of new urbanization and its requirements for financial activities. And analyze the financial impact and the role of the new urbanization at the same time. Third, the paper has been based on the development of Anhui province to introduce the results of the urbanization development and the drawback of urbanization development supported by finance, pointing out the gap between financial development and new urbanization connotation requirements. Fourth, the paper has conducted empirical analysis based on the1992-2012relevant economic indicators of Anhui Province; through co-integration test, Granger causality analysis and impulse response function analysis, the author has found out correlation relationship between financial development, financial efficiency and new urbanization-related indicators of Anhui Province, so as to analyze the role of financial indicators in the new urbanization.Finally, according to the actual development of Anhui Province, the author has explained the results of empirical analysis and proposed suggestions and countermeasures. |
