SMEs are the largest and the most dynamic business groups. SMEs’ progress is the significant foundation to support stable development of the national economy. SMEs have also played a very key role in Anhui province’s economic development. Especially a number of outstanding SMEs add vitality to Anhui industrial economy continuously. During the process of development of SMEs, talents have played a key role. To maintain stable and sound progress, SMEs must develop and manage human resources scientifically, then hold the competitive advantage. By means of the questionnaire research of SMEs in Anhui province, we analyse the current situation of SMEs’human resource management, and find that there are many problems, such as insufficient standard for each human resource management process, the weak sense of HRM. These problems also directly influence the small and medium-sized companys’long-term progress.Then to settle these difficult problems and improve human resource management of SMEs in Anhui province, it requires the joint efforts of business and government. SMEs should seriously face deficiencies on human resource management, set up thorough management system and positive management concepts. However, under the pressure of survival, SMEs face the dilemma on talent introduction and training, to settle these problems fundamentally, government also need to intensify support.In summary, this paper is based on the study of SMEs’human resource management, and analyze the questionnaire results, in view of SMEs human resource management level is nearly low, combined with the actual situation in our province, then put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from the government and enterprise two angles.
