Study On The Comprehensive Competitiveness Of Industrial Clusters Based On Life Cycle

At present, the development of industrial clusters is highly concerned by the academic circles at home and abroad. Many scholars think that industrial cluster is helpful to enhance the competitiveness of regional industries and to promote the development of regional economy. So the research on industrial cluster has become an important research direction of regional economics and industrial economics. In our country, the research on industrial cluster has already continued for many years, and achieved fruitful results, but there are still some deficiencies. For example, literature search revealed that the study on industrial clusters competitiveness by model is seldom. This article intends to make some exploration in this field.In recent years, the research on industry cluster in academic circles concentrate on the accurate evaluation of the comprehensive competitiveness, then based on the development situation to judge the life stage of industrial cluster. In this case, use quantitative analysis method, establish a set of relatively complete, practical, feasible evaluation index system, and use model to evaluate the competitiveness of industrial cluster, monitor the development of industrial cluster, offer decision which basis for the development of industrial cluster, has great theoretical value and strong reality significance.In the industry cluster around the country, Yiwu small commodity industry cluster is representative, typical and important, this paper selects Yiwu small commodity industry cluster and competitiveness as the research object. This article start from the summery of methods about the competitiveness and life cycle of industrial clusters both domestic and abroad, select combination weighting method which contain the AHP method and entropy weighting method, conduct the research to the Yiwu small commodity industry cluster competitiveness. In order to further the research process scientifically and objectively, this paper combined with my field research, make qualitative analysis first for Yiwu small commodity industry firstly, then proof the result vide supra weighting analysis by combination weighting method, at last, put forward suggestions to further improve the cluster the competitiveness of Yiwu small commodity industry by the judgment results.This paper is divided into six chapters; the main contents and structure are as follows:the first chapter is the introduction, describes the practical significance and background of research, introduces the research methods, content and framework, and summarizes the innovation and shortcomings in the study. The second chapter summarized the related theory, focuses on the theory of industrial cluster competitiveness and life cycle etc. Summarizes theoretical perspectives conclude competitiveness, evaluation model, and theory of life cycle about industrial cluster from home and broad. The third chapter is the dynamic analysis about the development between life cycle and competitiveness in the field of industrial cluster. Firstly, give forms of description of the competitiveness of industrial cluster development. Secondly, give features of industrial cluster and the competitiveness in the different stages of the life cycle, and then analyze specific content in the germination period, growth period, mature period and decline period. At last, give industrial cluster of the life cycle performance characteristics based on the decision factors, the concrete content includes four aspects of cluster size, economic benefit, innovative learning and support structure. Firstly, give the general index system of three level indexes. Then come up with the combination weighting method that includes AHP method and entropy method. The fifth chapter is the case study about Yiwu small commodity industry cluster competitiveness. In this chapter, give the Yiwu small commodity industry cluster as an example, study the development situation, using the combination weighting model, and evaluate the stage of this industrial cluster. Finally puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the further development of Yiwu small commodity industry cluster. The sixth chapter is conclusion and Prospect research.
