The Reaserch About China’s Export Competitiveness Of Agricultural Products

Since joining the World Trade Organization, China fully utilize the resourcesituation at home and abroad to participate in international division of labor, so that thetotal foreign trade of China’s rapidly rising trend presents, and always maintain thebalance of trade surplus. The international trade in agricultural products, even thoughChina can participate in international division of labor based on the status quo domesticagricultural products, imports and exports of agricultural products continued to grow,but in the imports and exports of both agricultural growth, the competitiveness ofChina’s exports of agricultural products has further weakened, agricultural tradebalance deficit gradually shift from the surplus and deficit scale is expanding year byyear. This is not conducive to China agricultural trade and the development of theagricultural economy, and therefore the competitiveness of China’s exports ofagricultural products to study the issue is important.In this paper, the core competitiveness of agricultural exports, is divided into sixparts:The first part is an introduction. The main topic is the introduction of thebackground, significance of the topic, literature review, research, research methods andinnovation and so on.The second part is an overview of the theory of international trade of agriculturalproducts. On the one hand, from the definition of agricultural products and it`s naturalcharacteristics and economic characteristics, the concept and characteristics ofagricultural products to be specified. On the other hand from the agriculturaltrade-related theory, through an overview of international trade theory, the reason for theinternational trade of agricultural products, methods, results provide a theoretical basis.The third part is the status quo of China’s agricultural exports. China’s agriculturalexports mainly through the stages and characteristics of the four aspects of the totalexports of agricultural products, agricultural products and export structure ofagricultural trade friction recently analyzed the data, elaborated the status quo of China’sagricultural export competitiveness. The fourth reason is the main factor affecting their export competitiveness ofChina’s agricultural products. This part separately from the WTO on the opportunitiesand challenges brought by China’s agricultural exports, international supply and demand,RMB appreciation, production costs, quality of agricultural products, agriculturalproducts and value-added agricultural trade protectionism expounded on China’s exportsof agricultural products, and explains reason for the existence of these factors.The fifth part is to increase our exports of agricultural policy recommendations.Respectively, from the perfect outlet system, reduce production costs, ensure productquality, develop new markets and accelerate agricultural trade negotiations to providepolicy recommendations for improving the competitiveness of China’s agriculturalexports.The sixth part is the conclusion, is the lack of results and summarize of this study,and the prospect of future studies.
