Research On The Talents Cultivation Of Tourism Management Major In Higher Vocational Colleges

With the continuous growth of the national income, tourism has become one of the fastest growing industry in our national economy, the rapid development of the industry stimulated the rigid requirements of the industry personnel. At the same time, according to the"Twelfth Five Year Plan"of tourism in Liuzhou city, Liuzhou tourism target is expected to realize the change of higher goal and mode in2015. Tourism Vocational education plays an essential role in order to realize the goal of Liuzhou tourism.However, due to various reasons, most vocational colleges faced the problem of differences between the ideal and the reality in cultivating tourism talents,which is a big gap on the requirements of quantity and quality for the cultivation of talents in Liuzhou’s tourism development planning. This is the starting point on the research of personnel training for tourism major in vocational education,hoping to improve the cultivation quality of tourism talents through this study for vocational education in Liuzhou, and to complete the purpose that the training of tourism professionals can match employers’ demand.Based on the theory of humanism education, the vocational education principle of Ability-standard as a guide and on the basis of reading a lot of literature, puttig forward three levels of occupation ability on the cultivation of tourism talents in vocational training, and to build a "hierarchical progressive" talents model of tourism vocational training, combining the analysis of cultivation of tourism major in Liuzhou City Vocational College, based on the service for the local economy. And analyzed and summarized the problems between tourism market of Liuzhou and Higher Vocational Tourism Education, combined with the basic principles of vocational education, learned from foreign advanced experience of tourism education, from eight aspects to give advice and suggestions for personnel of Tourism Management Major in higher vocational institutes’s.such as tourism major’s training target, training direction, curriculum, faculty, training way, the accomplishment of students,teaching evaluation and employment tracking,which hoping to be a useful reference for tourism’s talents training and development direction of higher vocational education in our country.
