| The "Twelfth Fiv-Year" period is a critical period for the tourism of strategically supporting industry in Chinese national economy and more welcomed modern service industry. Opportunity and challenge co-exist for the development of talented persons in tourism, so it’s an urgent problem at present for higher vocational colleges how to face local economy, how to research personnel training of tourism management and how to closely connect tourism industry with personnel management.The thesis got a questionaire from more than100travel agencies and scenic regions in the4th human resources marketing of tourism industry held by HuNan Tourism Bureauo in March2012and a wide communication with related people in many trades and professions. According to the above investigations, we adopted a series of methods for this study such as:data studies, investigating studies, introductive and detuctive methods and so on.On the basis of a comprehensive study on vocational education (particularly tourism management) personnel training and research modes at home and abroad, this article introduces its theoretical framework---internationally recognized CBE training mode. CBE training mode offers high guiding value to the development of Chinese tourism management higher vocational education from the five aspects as follows:reification of training, target, functionalization of culture education, practicality of professional education, activity of teaching course and socialization of quality assessment. Based on this, a multi-pattern personnel training mode of tourism management is then created. This article discusses in details the content of personnel training mode, construction of multi-pattern personnel training, professional knowledge, competency and quality structure. It puts forward ihe connotation of combining learning with working of cultivation of talents with integrated professional knowledge and practical experience and establishes the three staged talent-training modes for the discipline of tourism management in vocational colleges:"Base for practice-simulation companies-enterprises","classroom-base for practice-simulation companies-virtual enterprise" and "dual-quality dual-skill and dial-certificate" for cultivation of talents with both professional knowledge and practical experience. Meanwhile, this thesis also makes detailed analysis of the intellectual ability, attitudinal structure, key courses, training objectives for professional talents as well as the standards for training, formulating the training modes for ability-centered professionals.In addition, this essay proposes a material design for Tourism Management Specialty of Advanced Vocational Colleges (TMSAVC) to train skill-oriented managerial personnel in tourism, elaborates the training goal and criteria, modularized curriculum system focusing on "Professional Abilities with Double Certificates (PADC)", and analysis of vocational skill requirements, too. On the above basis, constructive ideas are offered about the establishment of a PADC curriculum system for TMSAVC followed by a concrete instance of it. Detailed descriptions are given on professional posts, typical job tasks, working processes, post skill requirements, overall quality demands and graduating qualification standards etc. The article also discusses building of TMSAVC staff, construction of curriculum system, teaching approach employment, formation of practical training system and mechanism of talents cultivation assessment as well as requirements of management for TMSAVC including configuration of professional staff, facilities ior practical training, professional resource base and teaching Q.C safeguarding system. |
