The Research Of Business Development Of The Third-party Logistics Company Relaying On Information Platform

As China’s social and economic development, the demand of logistics service present a rising trend, the third-party logistics enterprises are playing an increasingly important role in the national economic construction and social development. But the service program and quality of third-party logistics enterprises are generally backward. The increasing demand for logistics services and growing competition among third-party logistics enterprises bring more competition in the fierce market, it is high time for Logistics Company to develop the logistics business and improve the limited services capability.This paper study on how to use information platform to develop services of third-party logistics companies, base on the requirements from customers and available resources. The business development LID model based on information platform is proposed, it takes the customer needs of business development and utilization of existing resources into consideration, finally get the business developing path planning. Firstly, HOQ model is to used to determine which kind of logistics service can be developed in future according to the customer’ needs. Then build a comprehensive factor evaluation model for third-party logistics enterprise on the base of information platform using the analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, determining the development path based on the level score. This paper provide effective guidance for third-party logistics enterprises in the use of information technology for its own logistics business development, logistics enterprises to enhance their own logistics service capabilities and enhance the competitiveness of the logistics market has an important role.
