Study On The Risk Management Of The Backbone Network Reconstruction Project Of GXLT Company

The broadband plays a vital role on promoting information consumption and new-type economic development. The broadband network is also a strategic public infrastructure for the economic and social development of a country. The development of broadband network can decide which country control the commanding point to information competition. China has launched a series of preferential policies to give priority to the development of broadband network in recent years, so that all the communication service provider throughout the country have started the construction of broadband network. As one of the three communications service providers in China, China Unicom also began a large-scale construction of broadband network. However, in the face of so complex backbone network reconstruction project, if GXLT company has no enough risk consciousness and corresponding countermeasures, it will not get the opportunity in such a fierce competitive environment. Based on this background, This thesis has studied the risk management for backbone network reconstruction project of GXLT company. This thesis has five chapters. In the First chapter, we briefly introduced the development status of project risk management at home and abroad and its related concepts. Soon after, we Introduced the background, research significance and research method of the thesis. In the second chapter, the basic situation of GXLT company and its backbone network transformation projects were introduced. In the third chapter, the risk management status quo of the backbone network reconstruction project of GXLT company are analyzed firstly. Then, according to the theory of risk management, the risk of the project were re-planned and identified. In the fourth chapter, the control mechanism of risk event was established based on the knowledge system of project risk management. In the last chapter, the summary and prospect was given.
