In the wave of economic globalization, multinational corporations have alreadybecome the core organizers of contemporary international economic activities.Transnational corporations closely link various economic formations together throughforeign direct investment, the all-encompassing corporate strategies as well as the intricatenetwork structures. According to statistics,among the world’s largest500transnationalcompanies, nearly400have invested in China, which has played a huge role in promotingChina’s economy. It can be seen that such direct investment from these transnationalcorporations has become an impetus to China’s economy and such clients as transnationalcorporations have increasingly become the focus that China’s banks pay attention to. As aresult, a major issue that we need to stress is how to actively expand financial servicestransnational corporations and how to effectively highlights the strategic advantages ofChinese-funded banks.In this context, this article aims to analyze the investment strategies and the demandsfor financial services of transnational corporations in China, as well as to maximizepotential of China’s banking industry to better serve these transnational corporations. Thisarticle will develop measures to start a targeted financial marketing through case study.Meanwhile, the current situations that Chinese-funded banks provide financial services totransnational corporations will be analyzed and measures and solutions will be given inorder to improve financial services and enhance the core competitiveness ofChinese-funded banks.This article can be divided into six chapters. In the first chapter, objectives,methodologies as well as an overview of both domestic and overseas study.The secondchapter briefly introduces foreign theories of transnational corporations. The third chapter,combined the theories and investment characteristics as mentioned, the demand for financial services is also introduced. The fourth chapter describes the situation of financialservices provided by Chinese-funded banks to transnational corporations, but deficienciesin Chinese-funded banks. The fifth chapter, through the analysis of some detailed cases, theprogress of Chinese-funded banks has been confirmed, however, the gap between foreignbanks is also reflected. The sixth chapter forwards several measures for Chinese-fundedbanks to improve and promote services for multinational corporations.
