With increasing sharp market competition and strengthening intellectual property protection and the complicated market conditions, enterprise must support rapid innovation and can respond to market demands. In particular, the enterprise technology innovation measure is the precondition of winning market. The patent as the carrier of advanced technology and the important basis of measuring enterprise independent innovation, is important indicator of the development of science and technology. Because of characteristics of patent information such as objectivity, reliability, advancement, enterprise technology innovation research based on patent information analysis is attracting more attention of business circles and academic community. Therefore, the main research contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly, this paper reviews the research status at home and abroad of technology innovation research and patent analysis, learns related studying achievement and summarizes patent analysis common indicators and methods.Next, it discusses the roles of patent analysis among the innovation of different aspects in the society, proposes decision support chart for enterprise technology innovation based on the patent analysis. In addition, to apply technology maturity of product forecasting effectively and widely, an approach for technology maturity forecasting based on patent technology novelty measure methods is proposed. This approach facilitates the study of technology evolution.Then, the dissertation focuses on enterprise technology innovation efficiency based on patent analysis, by establishing a set of specific practicable quantized indexing system to evaluate the ability of enterprise’s technological innovation and defining the computing formulas of each index proportion and index attribute value. The relative weights between indices of evaluation mode are acquired by AHP method, G1method, variation coefficient method and entropy method. Finally, product technology maturity prediction model based on patent technology novelty measure methods is verified by predicting butterfly bamper sealing technology maturity. According to the established evaluation model, the paper makes a comparative study of six independent brand automobile enterprises. Through the case study, the paper achieves comparative study on independent innovative capacity between horizontal enterprises.
