The fierce competition caused by the information technology and varieties of markets demands, which makes the professional managers more and more important. Excellent professional managers who are pioneers of advanced productive forces,bearing management of daily business activities, are an important force in the corporate governance structure. Since many reasons besides the development of professional managers mechanism is still not mature, the problems between professional managers and enterprises is increasingly serious. As the increasingly intense between the two issues, domestic and foreign scholars are becoming interested in professional managers studies theoretically. Psychological ownership is a state of mind that feel the targets or something belong to me or us. On the basis of the former study of psychological ownership, the paper focuses on this concept and start with the perspective of whether the professional managers treat the organizations as theirs, then make research on how it affect engagement and test and verify the intermediary role of organizational commitment. We also give suggestions on the management of psychological ownership organizational, commitment and engagement.This paper is divided into three parts:the first part make a review of the psychological ownership、organizational commitment and engagement, proposing the idea of model and research hypotheses. The second part measured the current situation of professional managers psychological ownership, organizational commitment and engagement, make three demographic analysis of the three. Meanwhile, we make further analysis of the professional manager psychological ownership, organizational commitment and engagement from various dimensions. The third part presents suggestions to professional managers to enhance the management of psychological ownership, organizational commitment and engagement.The main conclusions are as follows:First, through factor analysis of professional managers we draw three dimensions of psychological ownership structure, i.e., self-efficacy, accountability and sense of belonging. Second, different demographic variables of professional managers show different in psychological ownership, organizational commitment and other dimensions. Third, the professional managers psychological ownership and engagement was a significant positive correlation.Fourth, verify the different perspectives of organizational commitment’s mediating effects.Main innovations are as follows:First, making the professional managers as a specific object of study, breaking the previous research on employee engagement, the engagement research perspective is innovative. Second, the paper focus on the relationship of professional managers psychological ownership and engagement, is a supplement of the theory of psychological ownership. Third, the paper verifies different dimensions of organizational commitment’s intermediary role between professional managers psychological ownership and engagement. Fourth, from the organizational and professional managers level, we give advice to enhance the management professional managers psychological ownership, organizational commitment and engagement.
