BRJ technology Co.,LTD.is a company that produces aluminum template for construction,with a large number of technical production staff.By the end of 2017,the company's manufacturing capacity has been fully utilized.However,as production orders are becoming more and more stable and other factors of production unchanged,the output of the production department has been decreasing month by month,and this has significant negative impact on the company.As observed by the author,employees are very tired and lack of focus,initiative and creativity at work.Therefore,this paper is to conduct a thorough analysis of above problems and provide suggestions to remedy them from the perspective of employee engagement.In this paper,the concepts and theories of engagement are reviewed,and then the company and its industry are introduced.The May,Gilson & Harter engagement model is selected and mature scale adopted.Through questionnaire survey and in-depth interview,the following problems of employee engagement in the production department of BRJ Company are found:(1)low employee psychological sense of security;(2)lack of autonomy in work;(3)poor work feedback,no performance information can be obtained from work in time;(4)relatively large input of employees in physical fitness;(5)high pressure on employees to work.In view of these problems and through further analysis of the courses,the following managerial suggestions are proposed:(1)in the psychological dimension,strengthen the staff's understanding of the whole work content,and increase the employee's sense of identity to the work;(2)in the psychological sense of security dimension,enhance the safety awareness of employees,hold regular meetings on safety protection,set up safety awards to motivate employees and purchase special types of work-related injury insurance for employees,encourage employees to express their opinions actively;(3)in the psychological accessibility dimension,arrange enough rest time for employees to adjust their physical fitness;provide enough care for them and increase their organizational identity.
