With the rapid development of economic integration and the penetration of market-oriented economy, China’s foreign trade economy is growing constantly and steadily. Ningbo Amass Freight International (Ningbo) Co., Ltd was set up in this context, playing a role as a medium sized international freight forwarder in Ningbo market. Lately, the company saw certain rang increases of its freight amount. Nevertheless, the growth has been slowing down and overall development is unsatisfactory.By using tools like porter’s theory model, etc, this paper analyzes the competitive environment of the Amass Freight Corp. Form the market point of view, the rapid development of the international trade economy has intensified the competition between freight forwarding enterprises. The competition leads to a more transparent price. The traditional way that is to win a price war will no longer go with the development of market-oriented economy. The market positioning of the Amass at the moment is not quite right. The company’s core competitiveness was not been shown to the market is because its strategy does not utilize its competitive strength then form the competitive advantage. As a result, it led to a situation that the company is lack of competitiveness in the present market. At the same time, the company is also meeting an unprecedented development of trade transportation brings higher requirement on service capability and quality of freight enterprises. For Amass Freight Corp., at the present stage, also has a great room for growth and development.At first, this article describe the theoretical method of competitive strategy, also analysis the thinking of research, through analysis macroscopic competition and industry competition environment, internal resource, using SWOT methods to analysis Amass Freight company meet with opportunities and threats, we can find advantages and disadvantages,the better combination that we should select, the main details include two parts:one is point the problems existing in the current operation and development orientation,the other is draw up a specification for competitive strategy, how to reflect increase core competitiveness and improve our competitive advantage, this also our critical point during my research.Then, according the present market situation,because Amass Freight company is a traditional Forwarder Shipping Agent, his economic strength, scope of knowledge from manager, power of team are limited, but we have too much opportunities, so that we should focus on our advantaged industries,our core competitiveness as following, cultivate and insist on professional service, so that we can increase the power to open the market, complete organization structure, establish an effective HR system, Improve the service consciousness, standardize operations, Raise the level of professional service. In additional, Amass Freight company should carry out service innovation, Differential marketing strategy, the competition between Forwarder Shipping Agents is increasingly fierce, Amass Freight company must supply personalized characteristic of the service, so that they can get a famous brand, all the works are satisfied with customers requirement, if the customers are satisfied with your works, company can promote New competitiveness, Develop a new business to expand market share, become bigger and stronger, thereby, it can lay a solid foundation for enter into Chinese logistics market.
