The Method For Measuring Construction Project Team Effectiveness

The concept of Team effectiveness in construction site roots in enterprisemanagement. Team in construction project has the features of scale small and timeliness,which becomes the restriction of team effectiveness. Compared with the enterprise team,differentiation of team members in construction management is more serious thattechnical level, management skills and tasks, psychological condition are complex.Team effectiveness combines the technology, management, psychological and teamperformance, satisfaction, development ability, helping team member improving theCohesion and happiness,as well as work efficiency, which realizes together growingboth person and overall.Firstly, through literature research and derivation, the paper establishes asystematic construction team effectiveness model and its algorithm. Team effectivenessmodel includes descriptive model, normative model, empirical model and heuristicmodel. The model changed from linear structure to system structure， effectivenessresearch pays more attention to progress and structure. The efficiency and effectivenessof construction team is analyzed by black-box principle, divided into two level, personand team. Team effectiveness analysis of construction team includes direct descriptionand efficiency description. Direct description utilizes descriptive statistics methodsshow the features of input, output and variation. Team efficiency of construction team iscalculated by Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). A stochastic DEA model wasdeveloped to solve the random data. To reduce the computation time, antransformational linear stochastic DEA model is better to calculate efficiency.According to the theoretical framework, this paper designed measurementindicators of construction team performance, as well as its questionnaire. Measureindicators are divided into input, process and output three parts. Metric measure indexcan be divided into two directions, individuals and others. Two-way survey reduces thesubjective judgment and increase the reliability and objectivity of the investigation.We study multi-input single output DEA model, through the statistical efficiencyvalues of different output frequency, measured the sensitivity of DMUs for differentoutput to determine the degree of comprehensive efficiency of DMU. Experiments in this paper, by introducing a new flue gas desulfurization engineering projects, theimplementation of the construction project team performance measurement and analysisprocess.
