The Study Of Enterprises Technological Standardization Based On Knowledge Capability

The Theory of Knowledge Concept believes that enterprises have become a socialcollection of generating, coding, storing and applying knowledge, and the knowledge is themost important strategic resource of the enterprise. In the dynamic economic environmentbased with knowledge, technological standardization process is inseparable from the supportof knowledge. The formation and diffusion of technology standards are implemented in acomplex network accumulated with knowledge. Technical standardization works involvestandard technology’s research and development, standard product’s innovation and otherrelated activities, which are closely related with enterprise’s knowledge resources andknowledge capacity. The affect of technological standardization will depend on the capacityof enterprise configuring, developing and applying the knowledge.The subject of technological standardization is enterprise, which is the most importantforce to carry out technological standardization and get success. How the enterprisesknowledge capability is will directly affect the each stage work of standardization.Investigating the relationship between the enterprises knowledge capability and technologicalstandardization in order to indentify how companies can improve appropriate knowledgecapability at each stage of technological standardization, so that enterprises can give full playto all kinds of knowledge capability, which having important theoretical and practicalsignificance to the enterprises.Based on the theory of enterprises knowledge capability, this paper constructs arelationship model of knowledge capability and enterprises technological standardization onthe basis of relevant documents, and proposes12hypotheses, having reliability and validityanalysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis by using SPSS combinedwith the enterprise survey data, to verify the hypothesis of this paper. The empirical resultsshow that knowledge capability playing an important role in the technological standardizationprocess, different knowledge capability having different effects in the different stages.(1) Inthe formative stage of technical standards, knowledge creation capability can bring a wealthof scientific knowledge stock, in favor of the development of standard technology, which isthe most important influence to the formation of standard; knowledge absorption capability can bring a wealth of knowledge flow which including scientific knowledge, which also anindispensable force; knowledge utilization capability can improve the efficiency of standardtechnology development, is a driving force.(2) In the implement stage of technical standards,a good knowledge absorption capacity is very conductive to the standard product’sdevelopment and commercialization, which is the most important influence to standard’sachievement; knowledge utilization capability, knowledge creation capability and knowledgeprotection capability are also having positive impact in this stage.(3) In the diffusion stage oftechnical standards, knowledge protection capability has the greatest influence, which is animportant safeguard force to standard’s diffusion; while knowledge absorption capability andutilization capability also have positive impact, stronger absorptive capacity is moreconducive to the spread of standard products and standard technology, and knowledgeutilization capability is the driving force of the standard diffusion. Finally, this paper providesrecommendations for enterprises to carry out technological standardization work accordingthe conclusion.
