With the "turbulent" environment changes, the increasing pressure of competitionand survival of enterprises, human resources has become the company’s core resources.Human resource management capabilities has become the company’s core capabilities. Asound salary system helps reduce the loss of corporate officers and attract top talent,reduce internal contradictions of enterprises, enhance cohesion, improve the overallquality of employees, improve labor productivity, and improve enterprise mechanism.With the development of enterprises, enterprises existing salary system, and graduallyadapt new business development strategy. Therefore, enterprises according to their actualsituation, the pay system reform, which is important for the survival and development ofenterprises.Nearly20years, Hebei Port Group on the size, structure have undergone a seachange, and companies pay distribution system ten years but did not change, therefore,the study of the second port company of Qinhuangdao in Hebei Port Group salary systemand optimization has important practical significance. From the research background andsignificance, research methods, content and frame start, the relevant theoretical concepts,the basic principles on pay and compensation system and salary system design aredescribed, on this basis, to modern compensation theory as a guide to oriented corporatestrategy, combining the two companies Qinhuangdao Port management, technicalexpertise and the actual situation of production and service positions, the status of thetwo companies Qinhuangdao Port compensation management research and analysis toidentify the outstanding issues that exist in the existing salary system and the reason, thedevelopment of pay system design guidelines and design principles to determine thecompensation system optimization design ideas, through job analysis, job evaluation,establish positions based pay system optimization design. Salary system optimizationdesign is not only important for the long-term development of the second port companyof Qinhuangdao, while also providing ideas and reference for other similar enterprisesHebei Port Group.
