The development of low-carbon economy, the construction ofecological civilization and sustainable development is accepted by humans.Renewable energy and smart grid become the common choice, responding to energyand environmental challenges."Strengthening power grid construction, developingsmart grid","focus on the development of... pure electric vehicle technology..." hasalready been written into China’s "12th Five-Year Plan". It is very necessary to thedevelopment of wind power and solar.As a technology and innovative enterprises, PRV was born from a electricityinstitute in2009. There are three main businesses for PRV: firstly, the technology andfacilities on charging and changing battery for electric vehicle; secondly, energystorage and conversion technology; thirdly, intelligent substation repairing and mobilesubstation. These are all very critical technology for smart grid.PRV is still in the process of transformation from institute to business enterprises.The next few years will be a critical period of development, and expansion. So, it isvery important to research and develop reasonable and effective development strategyfor PRV.According to the theory of management research, fundamental analysis modelsand methods, this paper does a depth investigation and analysis for PRV, includingopportunities and challenges, internal resources and operational capacity. Andestablished the development strategic, clarify the basic framework of the positioning,and implement the safeguards recommended for PRV.As the research show, PRV is suggested to follow the country policy, play itsown research and development, and improve the existing core technology.
