Staff belonging not only relates to enterprise ’s long-term development, but also determines theenterprise ’s core competitive advantage or the talent advantage. However, in recent years employees’weak sense of belonging and high staff mobility has become a headache to many enterprises, especiallyprivate companies. To tackle with retention and recruitment difficulties, companies have taken variousmeasures, but simply high pay or rewards failed to effect positively. Many migrant workers would rathergive up the high income in exchange for a sense of belonging provided by hometown.In view of this, the author take two private education enterprises in Ningbo as a starting point to doresearch on staff belongingness promotion. Hope to serve as a reference for similar enterprises. First, basedon the former studies and combined with empirical cases, the author analyzes the definition, generationprocess, function and influence factors of staffs’ sense of belonging. Secondly, based on the theoreticalanalysis and currently existing questionnaire, the author utilize reliability and validity analysis, descriptiveanalysis, correlation analysis to design employees sense of belonging questionnaire, use the questionnaireto implement investigation and analysis on an education or training enterprises in Ningbo (Ningbo center ofcompany B), and draw a conclusion on the characteristics of its employees’ sense of belonging. Finally,combining the previous theory and research findings, this paper offer the suggestion on how to increasestaff sense of belonging to Ningbo center of company B in order to remain talent and promote enterprisedevelopment.
