| China has a rapidly economic growth for30years, average growth rate perannum is9%.But behind this high-speed growth,our development is Extensive Modeand the TFP is low, these are not good for our sustained economic growth. PaulKrugman who is an American economist had mentioned this problem in his book,which is the return of depression economics. There are a lot of Scholar paying closeattention to the quality of economic development. On the other hand, there are manydifferences in the factors which affect the technical efficiency of economic growth. Onthe basis of Cobb-Douglas production function of the stochastic frontier model,thispaper is about the empirical research of2001-2011China’s technical efficiency ofeconomic growth and the related factor which affecting three region differently. Resultshows that (1)There is a state of technical efficiency in China, and obvious regionaldifferences, but these differences have a diminishing trend.(2) The driving mode ofChina’s economic growth is mainly driven by capital, from the long-term developingperspective, it is not conducive to the sustainable development of economy in ourcountry.(3) Foreign trade on economic growth in east China technical efficiency hassignificantly increased effect, effect of foreign direct investment in the western region isobvious, the central region due to the openness in itself is not high, foreign open degreehad no significant effect on the regional economic growth technical efficiency.(4) Thehigher education level of human capital in eastern and western region has an obviouseffect to promote the technical efficiency of economic growth, low degree of educationin China’s three region has obvious inhibitory effect on the technical efficiency ofeconomic growth.(5) The financial development to the technical efficiency of economicgrowth in China is not optimistic, the influence of the resource allocation function andresult in loan business have negative effect on technical efficiency of economic growth,this impact is obvious in the central and western regions, because of the economicdevelopment level and non-state-owned economy has a small portion in eastern region,the loan business has a positive effect on technical efficiency of economic growth.(6)Investment in science and technology have a positive effect on technical efficiency ofeconomic growth in three region in China, because of the input intensity, and factorssuch as regional differences, the effect on technical efficiency of economic growth ineastern region is larger than middle region and western region. Through the analysis of the above empirical results, some measures can be used toimprove the technical efficiency of economic growth in China.
