With the rapid development of modern economy and the continuous progress ofhuman society, there is no doubt that human resources management has become acore content of modern enterprise management. More and more enterprises realize theimportance of human resource management.Project-driven enterprises as a new form of business organization, has a strongability to adapt to the environment. Compared to those traditional enterprises, thiskind of enterprises can deal with more complex environment with many influencingfactors and binding interaction. It is widely accepted in engineering construction,aerospace, software development, consulting services, and other areas of the industry.The management mode in project-driven enterprises, which is different from that intraditional enterprise, has brought huge challenge to human resources management.Problems, as the instability of project, the vagueness of division of responsibility inproject, decentralized management structure, as well as dual leadership to the stafffrom project and functional department at the same time, increase both workload anddifficulty in all fields of human resource management. In order to define thedifficulties that project-driven enterprise management mode brings to humanresources management, the article uses case analysis for the research.Embarking from the management characters in project-driven enterprises, thearticle expounds the differences between project-driven enterprise management andthe management of those functional enterprises of tradition type. It takes Company A,which is a typical project-driven enterprise in engineering construction field, as aspecific case, to discuss the challenges that project-driven mode brings to humanresources management. By the analysis of the existing human resources managementproblems in company A, we hope for some corresponding idea and specific solution.And some general conclusion for human resources management in project-drivenenterprise is also expected.
