Study On Beijing Valley Economic Development Of Mountainous Areas

Beijing mountainous area is divided into seven counties,83 mountainous area and semi-mountainous area villages, including Huairou, Miyun, Pinggu, Yanqing, Changping Mentougou and Fangshan.. The total area of Beijing mountain area is 10.4 thousand square kilometers, occupying 62% of the total area of Beijing. Economy of mountain area takes an important position in suburbs economy. Under natural conditions, infrastructure, human resources endorsements restrict, mountainous area economic development level is often lower than flat area. But mountainous areas have good natural ecological system and create ecological protection for the plains. At the same time, mountainous areas are resources concentration areas, are the main area for biodiversity, landscape resources and cultural protection. Beijing mountainous areas are base areas for water conservation and economic sustainable development. Sound ecosystem developments of Beijing mountainous areas bring new opportunities, such as valley economy. Valley economy is an innovation model for mountainous economy development that has been created by Beijing in recent years, which promoted economic and social development of mountainous area effectively. Beijing mountainous relying on ecological environment development economy, such as the development of tourism industry and related industrial chains. To adapt to regional development pace, Beijing mountainous areas rely on natural advantages, and form interactive development pattern, promote the mountainous area economic development. Regional economic development and the polarization theory and the diffusion theory give full play to all kinds of existing preponderant industries, to drive the related industries develop with other industries, and finally improve the whole economic development level. This paper summarizes the domestic and foreign regional economic development theory, especially suitable development theory for mountainous area economy. Analyzing Beijing mountainous area economic development from economic, sociologic, ecologic and regional development aspects. Then using related economic development theory, such as poles economic theory, circulation economic theory, creative agriculture theory, system innovation theory and sustainable development theory to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of Beijing mountainous area valley economic development.
