In recent years, with the rapid development of the storage industry and the increasing variety of warehouse goods, the traditional manual management can not meet the needs of modern warehouse management. And virtual reality-based 3D visualization management system that can manage the warehouse real-timely, intuitively and comprehensively, has become more attractive to warehouse managers.The development of any 3D visualization system requires a seamless editor. Warehouse visible editor proposed in this paper can help developers build a real 3D scene quickly. Unlike most 3D scene editor, it’s an online editor based on B/S architecture. Users can build 3D scene through browser without complicated installation.Through the further research, we design and realize the warehouse visual editor based on Unity3 D.The main achievements are as follows:First, we get the target functions of editor through analyzing the background of editor. We get the function list of editor through analyzing all the use cases of editor.Afterwards, design and realize the editor based on the function list of editor and existing technologies. During the design phase, we introduce the design of architecture of editor and design of main interface. Then, realize the uniform interface of communication, at the same time, introduce the design of function models of editor in details. Besides, achieve the design of database of editor. On the realization phase, introduce the key class diagram of function model, analyze the key codes, in addition, show some realization images.Finally, test the warehouse visual editor through building the real 3D scene of cabinet warehouse. In the process of building real 3D scene of cabinet warehouse, editor not only is easy to use, but also is simple and useful. What’s more, all the function models are running well and achieve expected target.
