Design Of Software System For InsulatorDiagnosis Based On Vibration Method

In the power system,insulatorscould not only support the transmission lines, but also play a security role in the insulation; its quality directly determines whether the power system could run safely and stably or not. To ensure the safety of power system, the defectdetecting technology of insulator has undoubtfully become a focus in the field of power transmission safety. With a specialized analysis system, ainsulator-detect device can obvoiusly facilitate the insulator testing, reduce the workload of manual analysis, and improve detecting efficiency. A design of diagnosis and analysis system for insulator detecting is introduced in this paper. Through testing on the insulators in service, an experiment is made to verify the analysis and diagnosis system.Among those common non-destructive detection scheme introduced in this paper, more attentionis paid to explain the characteristics of the insulatordetecting based on vibration test method.Sarting from the theoretical feasibility of vibration testing, the solution of system design is discussed based on the actual requirements. The issues involved such as Frequency resolution, Spectrum leakage and Time domain windowing are discussed in this paper as well.Algorithm related likethe Fast Fourier algorithm, the Least squares smoothing algorithm and Peak-search algorithmare introduced to solve those problems and optimize test process.Using C++builder visual programming platform and windows dynamic link library to realize the software system.As a human-computer interaction interface, the corresponding display mode is expected to be well designed, making efforts to provide a friendly man-machine interface, improving the readability and convenience while using the system.Through the verification,it turns out that this system basically meets the actual demand and desired effect.The analysis system now is easy to use and working stably cooperating with the whole detecting device.
